7. How do I send/receive messages to my Buddies?
When sending instant messages, you must select a contact from your buddy list. You can double click or right click his name then select “Send Message” The chat window will appear on your desktop and you can start sending messages to your friend. Another way is to click the Send Message Button and enter your friend’s username. When you receive a message from your friend, the chat window automatically appears on your desktop. To respond, just type your message in the empty area at the bottom of the window, and press Send or the Enter key.
